I'm drawn to homes that feel collected rather than decorated — rooms with depth, comfort, and a little drama.
Velvet Interiors began with a simple frustration: too many beautiful houses that nobody felt at home in. I'd rather a room be warm than perfect, layered than matched, lived-in than photographed.
My work leans into deep colour and honest materials — aged brass, tactile linen, stone with a story. I take on a small number of full-home projects a year so each one gets the attention it deserves, start to finish.
Good design isn't the things you notice. It's the hundred decisions you never have to think about again.
From first conversation to the day you move back in.
- 01
Conversation
We start with how you live — not a mood board. What works, what grates, who the house is really for.
- 02
Concept
A single, considered direction: palette, materials and plan, shown in enough detail that you can feel it.
- 03
Design & specification
Every finish, fitting and piece of joinery drawn and documented so the build holds no surprises.
- 04
Build & joinery
We work alongside trusted makers and trades, on site, holding the detail through the messy middle.

Styling & reveal
Furniture, lighting, art and the last layer of texture — then we hand back a home, not a project.
